Valentine’s Day Eve

As I sit here listening to the Herd talk about Luke Walton on the hot seat, I realize tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Yes it is a commercial holiday created by a capitalist(wish I came up with it), but it is also a day to reconnect with your loved ones. Do I have to cancel that beer with my buddy tomorrow? Yes I do and I am happy to do it. I will head down to Vons(Safeway, Pavillions), buy a dozen each of red roses for my wife and pink for my daughter. Pick up some ingredients to make the original Ceasar Salad for TJ, maybe some steaks, and make a a killer mac and cheese.

Each gesture will welcome different levels of gratitude. My wife, Kim, will be happy that I put in in the effort to make the day special for her, while my daughter, Isabella, will just be happy, for what I have no idea. I think for my son I will get him some used shin guards as he would like to try ice hockey.

Ages in the house:

Kim – 47, Isabella- 18, Corrado-16 and me Jeff-47, Andi the dog 8, Lola the other dog 12 weeks. Tomorrow will be fun as we will all be together hanging out.

I am committed to adding content to my blog at least a couple times a week as a therapeutic outlet. Honesty, transparency and just being all over the place. Will the Padres get Harper? See, all over the place. Back to my day job.

Peace
